There are thousands of Realtors across the country that would love to be earning your level of income but can barely pay their bills. Your ability to thrive despite the current economy is a golden ticket that you may wish to cash in.

Not too long ago I built a coaching company with an independent financial advisor in a small town, who was doing better than the average planner. Within 4 years that company was generating over $ 50,000.00 per MONTH. He bought my interest in the company and despite how tough it is for financial advisors right now the coaching company is still going strong.

As a successful Realtor you may be in an even better position. The economy has been tough on Realtors at all experience levels and the industry is hungry for leadership. Although mentoring Realtors is an old concept few seem to have implemented organized and automated teaching methods derived from successful Realtors currently "in the field".

There are several reasons for this. The primary reason being that they just don't know how to take the information in their head and make it easily absorbable for hundreds of other agents, without spending so much time on the process that it erodes your primary Realtor income. Surprisingly this is a lot easier than you would think. It's just a matter of following some simple step-by-step procedures and utilizing audio, video and print tools.

Sometimes successful Realtors are just not predisposed to want to share their skills and knowledge to help others. They are afraid that it will erode their competitive advantage and equalize the competitive playground. The reality is quite the opposite, the actual act of teaching makes you a better Realtor, the collaborative act of coaching leads to new ideas, and the high expectations of those you are coaching pushes you to strive for more. The vast majority of Realtors (or successful individuals in any profession) have already discovered this, and for the rest they will soon become aware of it or stunt their own personal advancement due to their shortsightedness.

Finally the last challenge that stunts the growth of Realtor coaches is a lack of marketing knowledge, particularly Internet marketing. It is truly a shame that you could be holding the key for advancement for thousands and yet it is not taken advantage of. As you are already aware effective marketing demands an acute understanding of the client (in this case a Realtor in a similar position that you were once in) and some knowledge of how to utilize different marketing mediums and techniques to get their attention in a quick, cost effective manner.

It may not be common knowledge, but creating and implementing a marketing campaign for a coaching program is not exceptionally difficult, nor does it need to be exceedingly expensive. Your ability to place your new clients in continuity programs that take them from one-time purchasers to paying monthly membership fees allows you to stop chasing every new "sale" and builds a solid client base quickly. This is the basis behind any highly profitable coaching program.
