1. Think It For Sale

4. Rent a Storage Unit.
Almost every home shows better with less furniture. Remove furnishings that block or hamper paths and walkways and set them saved in storage.


5. Remove/Replace Favorite Accessories.

If you wish to capture window coverings, built-in appliances or fixtures along with you, remove them now. When the chandelier inside the living area once belonged for the great grandmother, remove it. In case your buyer never sees it, she won't want to buy. Once you tell a buyer she can't come with an item, she'll covet it, also it could blow your deal. Pack those items and replace them, if neccessary.


6. Do Minor Repairs.

Replace cracked floor or counter tiles, patch holes in walls. Fix leaky faucets. doors that do not close properly and kitchen drawers that jam.


7. Result in the House Sparkle!

Wash windows outside and inside. Rent a pressure washer and spray down sidewalks and exterior. Cleanse cobwebs re-caulk tubs, showers and sinks. Polish chrome faucets and mirrors.
