It is certain that the race in mobile market between the giant software maker Microsoft and the giant computer maker Apple has become more serious and fierce when Microsoft has recently announced to allow online preorders of its Kin One and Kin Two at Verizon Wireless.

 

Microsoft Kin One is the smaller version of the two feature handsets of Microsoft. With a built-in 5-megapixel camera, Kin One is sold at US$ 49.99 with a two-year Verizon contract.

 

On the other hand, the larger Kin Two which offers larger memory and an 8-megapixel camera is priced at $ 99.99 with a two-year contract. The price is after a $ 100 mail-in-rebate, which will be sent in the form of a debit card.

 

 

According to Microsoft, its two new handsets will be available in the market on May 13 after the pre-sales finish.

 

As stated on the release of Verizon, those who want to pre-order Kin smartphones of Microsoft will have to subscribe to a Verizon Wireless Nationwide Talk plan and an e-mail and Web for smartphone plan, which start at monthly rates of $ 39.99 and $ 29.99, respectively
